June – Brighouse 1940s weekend

The Brighouse 1940s event is always a busy one – the whole town centre is taken over with displays and re-enactments and once again we were honoured to be part of it. We were joined on both days by members of Accrington Pipe Band too.

As usual, we played in a couple of street locations throughout the afternoon (near The Richard Oastler pub and outside Wilkinsons) drawing in large crowds of spectators every time before finally leading the parade around the town. You might have been lucky enough to see one of our impromptu performances in the Black Bull too?
